It’s official – The Elite is going to war at AEW Revolution.

After the Young Bucks outlasted the entire roster to win a #1 contender’s battle royal, the reigning champions Kenny Omega & Hangman Page put down one hell of a challenge from the Lucha Bros., Pentagon & Rey Fenix.

With another defense now in the rearview mirror, the troubled duo will return to Chicago to face an even greater test. Not only will they have to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against one of the best teams of the past decade, but they’ll be fighting some of their longest and closest friends.

Another layer to this story is the clearly deteriorating state of Hangman Page, who in recent weeks has shown not only a general disinterest in being a part of The Elite, but almost a bitter resentment towards the gang. For what it’s worth, he was the only member of the old crew that wasn’t offered an Executive Vice President role at All Elite Wrestling’s inception.

AEW Revolution takes place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL on Saturday, February 29th.
