The big question now remains — who will Team Smackdown get in the trade in order to even some of the odds? That question just got a whole lot more interesting, as WWE is now advertising Vince McMahon for Tuesday night’s show. Apparently the boss will be revealing what he is calling the “biggest acquisition in Smackdown Live history”…
That certainly is an interesting statement coming from Mr. McMahon, considering the long history of names “acquired” by the Smackdown brand since its inception. You’re looking at a field of top stars and legends including The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle and even John Cena, if you count past WWE Drafts and Superstars Shake-Ups.
Leading speculation is of course Roman Reigns, who is probably the only star WWE officials might call the “biggest acquisition in history” at this point. Another possibility could be Seth Rollins, as he is clearly a top star and is also the reigning WWE Universal Champion.
