Shane “Hurricane” Helms recently debated the right and wrong of WWE publicly advertising Roman Reign’s return to Monday Night Raw. Helms, who recently came back to the company in a backstage role, was involved in a Twitter debate over the situation on February 23.
That debate began innocently enough but the longer it went, the more in-depth it became. Many pro wrestling fans argued that the company is using Roman’s return and impending health update, as a means to an end. Evidently, Raw’s ratings are the endgame.

But Shane, along with many others, believe that the decision to appear before a live WWE crowd and talk about his health is Roman’s choice. After all, why would anyone else take issue with the move as long as Reigns is comfortable doing it?
Roman is also booked for Good Morning America on the day after his return to Raw. It could be that this is a sign of an early publicity tour for Hobbs & Shaw, the Fast and Furious spin-off starring Reigns’ cousin, The Rock. Roman appears in the film, which is set to open on August 12.
But if this is not the case, then Roman may indeed announce his immediate future in WWE, which may, or may not, include WrestleMania 35.
Okay, in the future if anyone in the WWE gets sick and returns to discuss it, it mustn’t be announced in advance. Also, the person must teleport to the ring. No music, no nothing. Hope that makes it easier for you to cope with how someone else deals with cancer. 👍🏻 https://t.co/K9WPqDdbp4
