There will be a conference call this afternoon covering NXT Takeover: WarGames hosted by WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative, Paul Levesque (aka Triple H). ProWrestling.com will be on-hand providing live updates beginning at 12:30PM EST.

Triple H going over the card now. Talked about flooding & tragedies in Houston over the last few months, and says WWE is excited to help bring a smile to people in that area.

There will NOT be a roof on WarGames. “Arn Anderson wasn’t doing moonsaults off the top of the cage”. HHH says they needed to change a few things because the biz has changed, and it made sense for the 3-way team story. But he doesnt feel the guts/concept of WarGames has changed.

“Starrcade” and “WarGames” happening near each other is purely coincidental. They’re not looking to go hard into the NWA/WCW library. HHH has always wanted to do WarGames and has been pushing to get it through for a long time.

Booking is not easy. There’s a million small things that can change and go wrong. Lots of strengths & weaknesses. It’s an avalanche or “domino effect”. You book with the best intentions, in your mind it’s all “epic” but what ends up coming up sometimes is “slightly different”.

Some good talk about the Ric Flair documentary in relation to Reid’s failed drug tests. More on that later as it was too much for one tweet.

HHH put over Kurt Angle saying he’s one of the best ever, and doesn’t know anyone who picked it up as quickly as he did. If it’s right for Kurt, and it’s right for him, right for the fans, and all the pieces come together down the road, he’d love to do something with him again.

Mae Young Classic will have a big impact on future of NXT “rebuilding” as it opened their eyes to just how many women are out there competing at a high level that are already ready to go in NXT/WWE.
