The new alliance between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, which began at WWE Hell in a Cell when Zayn assisted Owens in defeating Shane McMahon, continued last night, according to PWInsider.com.

During the WWE Smackdown Live event in East Lansing, Sami Zayn faced Mike Kanellis in a singles match. Towards the end of the bout, Kevin Owens hit the ring and provided a distraction for Zayn, allowing him to hit the Helluva Kick on Kanellis for the pin fall victory.

After the match, Owens got on the mic and cut a promo for the live crowd, bragging about his win over Shane McMahon at WWE Hell in a Cell.
