IRELAND U20 HEAD coach Nigel Carolan has made minimal changes to the side which defeated Wales in their World Rugby U20 Championship opener.

Tighthead prop Ben Betts starts having played most of Tuesday’s match as a replacement for the injured Conor Kenny, whose tournament was ended by a shoulder injury.

Trinity’s James Bollard comes into the 23 as a replacement, alongside Vakh Abdaladze who will hope to be called upon this time around so that he can win his first cap at this level.

The rest of the side is unchanged, with Munster out-half Bill Johnston aiming to build on his impressive debut at this level with the same combination of backs outside him.

The imperious captain James Ryan leads the side from the second row with a pack that will be battle hardened before coming into contact with the Baby Blacks.
