FULLERTON, CA — A pickup truck smashed into nine pedestrians on a sidewalk in Fullerton early Sunday and the Anaheim driver is suspected of being under the influence of drugs. Christopher Solis, 22, has been arrested on felony DUI charges causing great bodily injury, police said.
Around 1:45 a.m., police were called to the area of West Santa Fe Avenue and Harbor Boulevard for a report that several pedestrians had been hit by a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Ten people were ultimately taken to hospitals with injuries ranging from moderate to critical. The victims ranged in ages from 18 to 49 years old.
It wasn’t immediately known if Solis has an attorney.
