LOS ANGELES, CA — Americans awoke Tuesday morning to a tweet from the President of the United States threatening to “go after” a woman he identified as “horseface.”

That woman, the president’s alleged former mistress and porn star Stormy Daniels, was quick to reply, hinting POTUS may have a thing for horses, adding, “Game on, Tiny.”

Indeed.

The latest presidential twitter feud stems from a court ruling Monday in Los Angeles where a federal judge threw out a defamation claim filed by Daniels against President Donald Trump, ordering her to pay for his legal fees. Daniels’ legal team vowed to appeal the ruling, and the remainder of her case against the presidents still stands. It’s a case that has roiled national politics, ultimately leading to the downfall of the president’s personal attorney, who appeared to name the president as a co-conspirator earlier this year when he pleaded guilty to skirting campaign finance law by paying Daniels hush money during the 2016 campaign. The case also led Daniels’ pugnacious attorney Michael Avenatti to dominate the airwaves and mull a 2020 run for president. But on Tuesday, it was the president throwing verbal punches.

“Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.” @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!”

The president appeared to be referencing a letter Daniels signed and then recanted denying the alleged affair shortly after news of it broke. According to Daniels, she had a brief affair with the president after his youngest son was born in 2006.

Daniels seems less than impressed with the commander in chief.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present your president,” she tweeted Tuesday morning. “In addition to his…umm…shortcomings, he has demonstrated his incompetence, hatred of women and lack of self control on Twitter AGAIN! And perhaps a penchant for bestiality. Game on, Tiny.”

The feud created the predictable Twitter storm, with Trump’ supporters celebrating his legal victory and egging on his name-calling. His critics questioned whether the president’s tweet ran afoul of the first lady’s Be Best anti cyber-bullying campaign. First Lady Melania Trump has yet to publicly weigh in.
