Continuing the momentum following last week’s well-received NXT invasion of SmackDown, FOX saw another ratings increase last night.

Last night’s SmackDown averaged 2.617 million viewers in the overnight ratings, up three percent from last week and the highest number since week two on FOX, which was the start of the WWE Draft.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.85 rating, up six percent from last week. The show had a 0.6 rating in the 18-34 category, identical with last Friday. SmackDown topped all of network TV in both of those important ratings demos.

SmackDown was taped earlier in the day in Manchester, England and included a title change with The New Day defeating The Revival to win their seventh Tag Team titles in WWE. The show also featured a continuation of the NXT invasion with Shayna Baszler and NXT UK’s Imperium making surprise appearances.
