FARGO, N.D. – Legendary former University of Minnesota head wrestling coach J Robinson is the keynote speaker at the Bison Wrestling Club Coaches Clinic scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.
Cost of the clinic is $100 for the first coach, $75 for each additional coach per high school. Register before Oct. 1 when the price increases to $150 first coach / $125 for each additional. Cost includes lunch, dinner and an evening social.
J Robinson is scheduled to speak from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Robinson led the Gophers to NCAA national championships in 2001, 2002 and 2007. He was named the Big Ten Conference Coach of the Year eight times and was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2005. Bison head coach Roger Kish and assistant coach Matt Nagel earned All-America honors wrestling for Robinson at Minnesota.
The clinic opens at 10 a.m. with registration and brunch. Kish, NDSU assistants Jarrod Garnett and Nagel, along with sports dietitian Samantha Fuhrmann, assistant strength and conditioning coach Zach Cahill, and director of sports medicine Mike Kjellerson will present at the clinic.
