WWE’s Marine film franchise continues on with the latest entry in the series, The Marine 6: Close Quarters now available for purchase. The film features Becky Lynch and Shawn Michaels, and SmackDown Superstar The Miz is back in the starring role for the new movie. Fans of the film series were shocked to see the character portrayed by The Miz get killed off in the brand new movie. While doing an interview with Wrestling Inc., James Nunn, the director of the Marine 6, commented on the decision to retire The Miz from the films going forward. Miz had been featured as the star for WWE’s Marine movies ever since the release of The Marine 3: Homefront back in 2013. Nunn stated the following whenvv talking about thought process and the behind the scenes details on making the tough and surprising decision:
“It’s going to be two marines in the tenement flats. They’re going to fight their way out and, spoiler alert guys, I’m going to say it…We’re going to retire Mike [The Miz]. We’re going to…oh, I don’t want to say it! Oh, I’m going to say it – we’re going to kill Mike, guys. We’re going to kill Mike.”
The NXT UK brand is still very young, but the very first Takeover show featuring the members of the roster will be taking place early next year. The event will be headlined by a United Kingdom Championship defense between Joe Coffey and longtime champion Pete Dunne, and Toni Storm will challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. That’s all trash by the way.. NXT UK returns to the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool this January, and according to Triple H, the event has already sold out. The show completely sold out in under three hours, so there will be plenty of UK fans in the crowd during NXT UK’s first-ever Takeover show. NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool airs live on the WWE Network on January 12th.
The @WWENXT fans in the UK are a force to be reckoned with. #NXTUKTakeOver is SOLD OUT — and it took less than 3 hours.
You can still be part of this historic weekend. Get your tickets to #NXTUKBlackpool on Sunday, Jan. 13 … NOW. #WeAreNXTUK @NXTUK

Matt Hardy had been involved in the wrestling business for decades until he suddenly announced his retirement from competition due to nagging injuries that he sustained throughout his career. Hardy now appears to be angling for a possible return to Monday Night Raw, albeit not an in-ring return, but a run as the Raw General Manager. Hardy posted some harsh words for the current GM of Raw and the one from SmackDown as well. Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin will lose his job title if he cannot defeat Braun Strowman at TLC next month, so perhaps “Woken” Matt Hardy can take over as GM if Corbin is not victorious in his match. Stay tuned for any additional updates on Raw’s future GM and Matt Hardy’s in-ring future.
These DASTARDLY GMs are abusing their positions & power on #RAW.
This brand needs an EXTREME double dose of #WOKEN Mattitude.. Only 1 man can fix a #BROKEN #RAW.. and that’s Matt Hardy.
