It is being said that Northeast Wrestling, which had previously advertised Rey Mysterio to be competing on their upcoming August 24th Event in Pittsfield, MA has now announced that Mysterio will not be appearing at the show due to a “contractual situation with WWE.” There has been no reports or indications by anyone that Mysterio has officially signed with WWE, but rumors have been swirling for months that a deal is imminent pending the two sides agreeing on some minor points. It is worth noting that Mysterio is still scheduled for the September 1st All In Event but is pretty much free after that date, which is when most expect he will begin with WWE.
