On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the possibility of WWE offering WrestleMania, SummerSlam and other PPVs to different networks for broadcast rights. Meltzer said that there are already networks that are offering almost $5 million for each broadcast of RAW, so it is very possible that some day there will be a network that will offer $10 million for a one-day WrestleMania event or at least offer more money than WWE is making in airing the PPV on the WWE Network.
It was revealed during last night’s episode of SmackDown Live that the winners of their respective MITB Ladder Match will earn the right to cash in their briefcase against the champion of their brand only. This would clarify rumors that the winners will not get the same treatment as the Royal Rumble winners, who were able to challenge the champion of either brand.
