The big tag team acquisition for SmackDown Live during Tuesday’s Superstar Shakeup was undoubtedly the announcement New Day was coming, but Primo and Epico of the Shining Stars grabbed some of the spotlight by ambushing American Alpha’s Chad Gable during their Team Blue debut at the TD Garden in Boston.
Shortly after the Usos retained their SmackDown Live tag team titles with a win over American Alpha, the Shining Stars announced their move to SmackDown by showcasing their new finisher on a helpless Gable. The move combines a powerbomb and backstabber on its victims.
