— Overnight viewership numbers from Tuesday night are in and the audience for WWE Smackdown 1000 was predictably up, generating 2.545 million viewers, up from 2.135 million last week. While it was the most watched Smackdown since April, it likely wasn’t as great as expected – especially if you consider a similarly promoted Raw 25 show earlier in the year drew massive numbers.

— On the night, Smackdown was 9th in total viewership and 5th in the 18-49 demographic, trailing only NBA and MLB games. Competition on the broadcast side was stiff, with The Conners and NCIS both drawing over 10 million viewers. Raw on Monday drew 2.39 million so Smackown was the most watched WWE show for the first time in a long time.
