CM Punk took to social media on Saturday evening to congratulate a teammate and a UFC Champion on his successful title defense at the UFC 228: Woodley vs. Till pay-per-view.

The 0-2 UFC fighter and former WWE Superstar posted a tweet after Tyron Woodley’s second round submission victory over Darren Till in the main event of Saturday night’s PPV at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

“And still,” wrote Punk. “[Tyron Woodley] is the best dude. Great friend, teammate, son, father, husband … ya know, the important stuff. We love and respect him. #Roufusport.”

Punk has trained with Woodley in the past as both are members of the Duke Roufus-led Roufusport gym / fight team based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
