As Friends’ 24th anniversary looms, Courteney Cox is busy celebrating another milestone of sorts: her daughter is starting high school!
Courteney and her ex-husband David Arquette’s 14-year-old daughter Coco (who was born after Friends ended, if you can believe it) is growing up before our very eyes.
Arquette, 46, shared a rare photo of the family on Wednesday, posting a snap of him and Cox, 54, holding their daughter close after what appears to be a school drama production (Coco’s hair is black like mom’s and she has a small mic taped near her mouth). In fact, judging by Coco’s attire, we wouldn’t be surprised if she was starring as Wednesday Addams in an Addams Family adaptation of sorts. Whatever the case, we’re glad to see that mom and dad’s passion has found its way to the next generation — according to Cox, her daughter is an “incredible singer.”
“I’m so proud of my daughter Coco! Have fun and be safe in Highschool! AND don’t grow up too fast! I love love love you!!!” David captioned the sweet family photo.

While Coco is Courteney’s only child, Arquette shares two young boys with his current wife, journalist Christina McLarty Arquette. (In case you were wondering, David Arquette has a type … )
It’s only a matter of time before Coco reaches her parents’ level of fame. She’d starred in two music videos by the time she was 12 (!!!) and to date she’s been in more than 16 musicals. We’d say the future is looking pretty damn bright.
