Last week it was announced that the War Raiders had vacated the NXT Tag Team Championships following their move to the main roster.
The future of the titles has now been revealed, as a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match has been announced for the June 1st NXT Takeover XXV event taking place next weekend in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly have been confirmed for the match, representing the Undisputed Era. Joining them will be the Street Profits, the Forgotten Sons, and the team of Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. The winners will of course become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
It’s potentially worth noting that Bobby Fish may have been injured at an NXT Live event this past weekend, as he had to be escorted to the back while O’Reilly quickly wrapped up the match solo. We have not yet received any word on his condition.
