Tessa Blanchard lost The IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Title to Taya Valkyrie with IMPACT Wrestling Hall Of Famer Gail Kim as The Special Guest Referee back in January at The IMPACT Wrestling Homecoming Event. Towards the end of the match, Blanchard would attack Gail Kim out of frustration and would get hit with Kim’s finisher, eat defeat, allowing Valkyrie to pick up the win and the title.
Their rivalry has been brewing since and during the most recent episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Blanchard demanded an apology from Kim. In the video shown below, Kim would apologize for what happened between them, then she would resign from her position in IMPACT Wrestling Management. Blanchard would then continue to taunt The IMPACT Wrestling Hall Of Famer until she informed Kim that she will be coming out of retirement for a match against her.
Blanchard & Kim will now meet at IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion on April 28th from The Rebel Complex in Toronto, Canada. Below is the updated card:
