OGC Nice manager Lucien Favre has formally turned down a proposition from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, according to the Tribune de Genève.

This coincides with reporting this morning from BILD which suggested that Favre had been approached by Dortmund to replace Thomas Tuchel.

The Tribune de Genève confirms that Dortmund are very interested in Favre, and that turning down BVB is not as easy a task personally for the Swiss manager because of the potential platform they give him to legitimately challenge Bayern Munich domestically and become a European force.

OGC Nice President Rivère is very much aware of the high level of interest in Favre and will do everything to keep his man.
