L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Lyon are considering two potential targets as they seek to add to their attack before the end of the summer transfer window.

Talks continue with Liverpool over the possible signing of Swiss international attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri and OL remain interested Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun, who is manager Peter Bosz’s priority at centre-forward.

But the €15m + price tag is posing a problem.

Sporting Director Juninho would like to sign Montpellier forward Gaëtan Laborde. OL are also looking to sign a central defender following the relegation of Brazilian player Marcelo to the reserves for behavioural reasons. 

In that regard, OL have approached Uruguayan defender Gaston Alvarez (21) who is currently plying his trade at Boston River. However, Bosz would like more experience in this position.
