LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The NFCA recently launched a sister site to its main NFCA.org website to handle registration for various Association events.

The NFCA’s popular annual summer camps are the first items to move fully online to the new website, NFCAevents.org.

Everything users have come to expect from the Association is there, with complete details about our lineup of camp offerings and new features and capabilities, including a newly simplified and completely online registration process.

“We are excited to partner with SDI Camps to introduce an innovative, user-friendly website for NFCA event registrations,” NFCA Executive Director Carol Bruggeman said. “After doing research on various options, it became clear SDI Camps was the best choice. We currently have our 2016 camp registration “live” and will soon add registrations for NFCA Coaches Clinics, NFCC Courses, Convention Exhibitors, and future events.”

“We hope our attendees enjoy the ease and convenience of our new registration site.”

Since their debut in 1993, the NFCA’s camps have become one of the most popular ways for high school athletes to showcase their talent to college coaches. In recent years, the camps attracted more than 5,400 athletes and coaches from more than 500 colleges and universities from around the nation. The NFCA now holds three different types of camps: Classic, Academic and EXCEL Camps.

The NFCA Classic and Academic camps are fully administered by the NFCA staff from the registration process to on-field direction, while the Endorsed Classic camp will be run using strict NFCA standards, but managed by an outside group in conjunction with the NFCA.

In the NFCA EXCEL camps, which debuted last year, players are provided both hitting and defensive instruction.

Defensively, players will select the position of choice for this intense, unique learning opportunity from college coaches. The afternoon will be filled with opportunities on the field, as players will compete in games. For this camp, NFCA staff handles registration and collegiate coaches (lineup varies by camp) do the on-field instruction.
