WWE has been sending more and more of their own talent to EVOLVE Wrestling shows lately. The likes of Fabian Aichner, Kassius Ohno, The Velveteen Dream, Johnny Gargano, and The Street Profits are just a couple of recent examples, but it looks like someone from the NXT roster will be coming to shock the system in EVOLVE very soon. During an NXT live event in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this week, it was announced that The Undisputed Era’s Adam Cole will be coming to EVOLVE when the promotion heads to Atlanta on February 15th. There is no word on what match Cole will be involved in just yet, but expect this fan-favorite wrestler to tear the house down when he returns to EVOLVE in a couple of weeks.
It was announced at #NXTAtlanta tonight that Adam Cole and EVOLVE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits will be in action at EVOLVE in Atlanta on February 15th!

It has been a busy but exciting week for Cody Rhodes and the rest of the members of The Elite. Not only did the team impress fans once again at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom event earlier this week, but they also confirmed that all of the rumors about All Elite Wrestling are true. Cody will be working as both a talent and behind the scenes in AEW this year while his wife, Brandi Rhodes, serves as Chief Branding Officer, Tony Khan worked as president, and the rest of The Elite take on other roles. As if Cody wasn’t busy enough, it sounds like he may now have a possible injury that he will have to deal with. According to a tweet from Rhodes, he may be fighting through the pain of a nasty sounding knee injury right now.
Cody was answering questions from fans on social media yesterday when he spilled the beans on his physical well-being. In a tweet, Rhodes revealed that he is actually hurting right now and that one of his knees is “shot” at the moment. Cody also says that he has been advised not to put too much pressure on the knee by his doctor. Fortunately, Cody seems to be taking the potential setback rather well and is hoping to be good to go once again within a very short amount of time. Rhodes lost the IWGP United States Championship on January 4th in what is likely his last match with NJPW before he leaves to focus completely on AEW. As a result of the injury, Cody’s time in the ring may be very limited until he is ready to come back again.
My knee is shot. I shouldn’t be walking on it, multiple meniscus tears. Complex/horizontal.
But we have a great doctor and the scope has a short recovery time back to 100%. https://t.co/9j7Rj8JWHG
