“The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne has been entertaining fans in the United Kingdom for a number of years, but he got the chance to show the entire world what he’s capable of when he joined the company’s planned UK expansion. As the current United Kingdom Champion, Dunne has blown audiences away with the matches that he has had on NXT against Tyler Bate, and he debuted on Raw last year as well. Could he be making his WWE main roster pay-per-view debut soon? Britannia Wrestling has just confirmed that Dunne was pulled from an upcoming event he had been scheduled for by WWE. With the Royal Rumble coming up soon, it’s possible that he could enter the match as a surprise entrant.
WWE fans were in for a unique treat when they tuned in to see The New Day, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this week. Each of the WWE Superstars participated in a ‘Lip Sync Battle,’ which saw Triple H and Stephanie emerge victorious after singing “How Far I’ll Go” from the film Moana. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before Moana star (and former Lip Sync Battle winner) Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson responded to his former WWE rival’s attempt at covering the song. Johnson revealed that he is very proud of Triple H and Stephanie’s performance from this past week.
Ha bravo! You both killed it. Power of Moana.. you’re welcome ?????? #TwerksAndHighNotes https://t.co/ErVRaBLlp0

The Rock has risen in popularity tremendously over the years due to his film and business work. Johnson has even discussed the possibility of running for President of the United States in the past. In fact, some fans are so devoted to Johnson that they’ve decided to dedicate an entire musical to the wrestler turned actor. “The People’s Rock: a Musical” is coming to The Vault Festival on January 24-28th in London. The premise revolves around a woman named Tee who is heartbroken after The Rock is inexplicably erased from existence. She then focuses on uncovering the truth. Johnson himself commented on the musical on Twitter.
Ah a musical inspired by yours truly. Cool.. who’s hitting the high notes? ??
Read the premiere. Entertaining, with a strong 18yr old female voice. I love it!
Break a leg and I’m there in spirit! #ThePeoplesRock @VAULTFestival https://t.co/9oRp6ULqIU
