After Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Rajasthan, Karnataka government on Monday announced to slash fuel prices in the state.
The fuel prices in the state have been slashed by Rs 2.
Sources said chief minister HD Kumaraswamy had instructed the finance department last week to consider reducing fuel prices. It is said the instructions were passed on after he reviewed resource mobilisation across the state following the announcement of the farm loan waiver.
