Speaking in an interview with France Football, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo was asked about an eventual pursuit in acquiring the services of 33-year-old Argentine maestro Lionel Messi, whose current contract with Barcelona expires in summer.

“Great players like Messi will always be on PSG’s list. But it is of course not the moment to talk about it, nor to dream about it… But we are sat at the big table of those who are following the situation closely. In fact, no, we are not yet seated but we have a chair reserved just in case… Four months (until the end of the season) in football, that is an eternity, especially during this period.”
