— According to data compiled by Neilson Media Research, the June 2nd edition of WWE RAW drew a 3.4 cable rating, up from last week’s 3.2. The show did hours of 3.23 and 3.62.

— WWE scored a spot on David Letterman’s top 10 list on Monday night. The list was for the “Top 10 Surprising Facts About Sonia Sotomayor. No. 9 was “Got her start as a WWE wrestling referee.”

— In an interview with NBC news, U.S. President Barack Obama references WWE when explaining why he doesn’t watch political talk shows on cable television. Obama told reporter Brian Williams, “I’ve used this analogy before, it feels like WWF wrestling. Everybody’s got their role to play.”

— Samoa Joe has updated his Twitter page with an injury update. After some feared that Joe’s torn tricep and broken fingers would keep him from wrestling at Slammiversary later this month, todady Joe wrote, Gonna be at Slammiversary hell or highwater.
