As reported in France Bleu Reims manager Óscar García was not best pleased about the sending off of Bradley Locko in the 22nd minute in Stade de Reims’ 3-0 loss against Monaco yesterday, and sarcastically proposed a new training method for the players to get used to playing a man-down:
“Maybe the idea would be to train with only 10 players on the pitch, because Ligue 1 referees have decided we have to play with 10”

In a season which has seen 20 red cards already in Ligue 1, Stade de Reims have been the most hard done by through referring decisions so far – having received four red cards in only eight games into the season. Yesterday saw an extreme case of that, with Nice’s Jean Clair-Todibo was sent off after nine seconds against Angers – who brought down forward Abdallah Sima who was running through on goal.
