It’s scary to think that the wrestling world almost lost WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair last year. “The Nature Boy” was hospitalized for weeks as a piece obstructing his bowel had to be surgically removed. Flair would miraculously recover after spending weeks fighting for his life. After the surgery, Flair’s doctors recommended that he stop drinking alcohol. Despite this, Flair admitted on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast that he has resumed drinking. Fortunately, Flair says that he mostly only drinks during certain occasions, and he does not drink too much anymore either. The days of drinking that Flair became notorious for appear to be over now, but that does not mean that the 16-time world champion doesn’t celebrate in style every once in a while.
“It’s that the doctors are afraid that if I have one, that will lead to
another, but I have had a drink, so alcohol is not gonna kill me. I’ve
never had any hard liquor and that won’t happen, but I have had probably
ten or twelve beverages with alcohol in them; beer, wine, or
champagne.”
Flair said.
At this point, it does not look like The Young Bucks are on their way to WWE in 2019. Although the brothers are said to be exiting Ring of Honor very soon, signs are currently pointing to The Bucks launching the very own All Elite Wrestling promotion with Cody Rhodes in January. Fans hoping to see The Elite members take on WWE tag team The Revival are in luck though as Matt Jackson posted a tweet last night promising that they will face the former NXT Tag Team Champions at some point in the future. As for Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, they appear to be down for the challenge. Regardless of where or when the tag team bout ends up taking place, this is one that fans won’t be able to forget about whenever it does arrive.

One day we’ll wrestle The Revival & everyone will rejoice. Remember this tweet.

Former Impact Wrestling Superstar Robbie E has kept himself incredibly busy since leaving the promotion through other independent wrestling bookings, as well as with his own podcast. However, Robbie is now set to take on a completely brand new challenge. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed on social media yesterday (in the video posted down below) that Robbie E will be participating in the upcoming Titan Games competition series. Robbie E is just one out of 64 other competitors on the show, so it will certainly be interesting to see just how far the wrestler makes it. Fans wanting to catch a glimpse of Robbie E on the show can catch the first episode of Titan Games, which will be premiering on NBC on January 3rd.
