Longtime WWE Superstar Randy Orton, who has been on the sideline recovering from major surgery, is scheduled to visit the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida next week to train in preparation for his long-awaited WWE return.

“The Viper” has been out of action since December of 2015, however recently it was noted that he was approximately one month away from making his in-ring return. He is currently advertised for some WWE live events in August.

Additionally, PWInsider.com is reporting that there is speculation within WWE that Orton may end up being the man who will stand across the ring from Brock Lesnar when “The Beast Incarnate” makes his WWE return at SummerSlam.

As noted, WWE is scheduled to announce Lesnar’s opponent for SummerSlam on this week’s edition of SmackDown.
