Sasha Banks has returned to WWE television.

On tonight’s post-SummerSlam episode of Raw, Banks made her first appearance on WWE TV since WrestleMania 35. Banks returned as a heel and took part in an angle where she laid out both Natalya and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

Natalya appeared on Raw after losing her submission match against Lynch at SummerSlam. As she was talking about the one-year anniversary of her father’s death, Banks’ music hit. Banks hugged Natalya, then attacked her. Banks took off her purple wig and revealed that she now has blue hair.

Lynch tried to make the save for Natalya, but Banks laid Lynch out with a steel chair and threw her into the steel steps.

Banks & Bayley lost the Women’s Tag Team titles to Peyton Royce & Billie Kay in a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania 35. Dave Meltzer reported in today’s Daily Update that no one internally in WWE had denied that Banks’ return was imminent, but they hadn’t confirmed it either.
