On Monday, Katie Holmes took to Instagram to share something she doesn’t regularly: a selfie. In a stunning black-and-white shot, the 37-year-old actress and mother to little 10-year-old Suri Cruise smiles for the camera and shows off a natural-looking, fresh-faced glow. “Happyweekend #hamptons #friendship #apollo #gratitude,” she wrote as the caption, referring to the Apollo in the Hamptons charity event where stars like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani performed (and looked as adorable as ever together).

In addition to sporting a casual off-duty vibe (we love her T-shirt and loosely styled ponytail), Holmes also visited the home of Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal. She took to Instagram to share a picture-perfect view of her friend’s property. “Jane’s house @janetribeca #summertime #peace #friendship #gratitude @jujuthefuju #nofilter,” she captioned the snap.
