Ahead of their second match of the season, against Strasbourg tomorrow evening, Paris Saint-Germain have indicated that defender Sergio Ramos is still recovering from a calf issue and will make his debut for the club after the international break.
The World Cup-winning centre-back arrived on a free this summer after leaving Real Madrid, but has yet to take to the pitch for PSG as a result of his injury – his return to action is now delayed until mid-September, at least.
The club have also indicated that full-back Juan Bernat has returned to full training, while Colin Dagba will be sidelined until after the international break as he makes his progressive return to full fitness. Midfielder Idrissa Gueye, who had been Covid-19 positive, has now returned to training and will be available for selection next week.
