The second piece of DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man, “Turf Wars,” now has a release date thanks to an in-game menu item.
As confirmed by a copy IGN owns, Spider-Man’s menu now confirms that the second part of The City That Never Sleeps DLC will be released on Nov. 20 for PS4.
As first spotted by Reddit, the description reads, “Butt heads with Hammerhead in the new DLC, ‘The City That Never Sleeps: Turf Wars.’ Available Nov. 20 in the PlayStation Store.”
A representative for PlayStation confirmed this release date to IGN.
IGN reviewed the recently released first DLC, The Heist, saying “The Heist certainly sets up a story and characters I’m excited to see more of, but feels more like the start of something instead of a whole worth recommending solely on its own.”
IGN’s weekly PlayStation show Beyond! also discussed whether The Heist is a worthy followup to the base Spider-Man adventure.
Spider-Man’s New Game Plus mode has also recently been released, at which point Insomniac put in an amusing response to the pre-launch puddle complaints for the game’s photo mode. Spider-Man for PS4 topped the September sales charts, having netted the best launch month in dollars for any PlayStation exclusive ever.
