Tokyo Sports is reporting that former-IWGP Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito turned down an offer from WWE this summer. WWE apparently reached out to the Los Ingobernables de Japon leader, after his June 9th match with Chris Jericho at Dominion. Naito is set to face Chris Jericho for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 13 on January 4th. It will be Jericho’s second defense of the belt since he won it from Naito at Dominion.
