Fans have been begging for WWE to introduce a set of tag team titles for their women’s division for quite some time now. The women on Raw and SmackDown only have their brand’s respective Women’s Championship to compete for as of right now, but with teams such as The IIconics, The Bella Twins, The Riott Squad, and Sasha Banks & Bayley on television now, it seems like now would be the perfect time for the company to finally have the championships debut. Some have even speculated that the titles could be introduced at WWE’s all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view this weekend. With the show now just a few days away from taking place, an update on the status of the rumors titles has just been provided.
Within the past few days, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Naomi have all teased the possibility of Women’s Tag Team Championships being introduced soon. Additionally, BeltFanDan noted several months back that the women’s tag team titles will have a white strap and will be defended on both main WWE shows. Additionally, some fans have noted on Twitter now that WWE was handing out signs to fans which demanded that the company introduce tag team belts for the women. As of right now, the company has not confirmed whether or not the titles are coming, so it appears that those who are hoping to see Women’s Tag Team Championships may want to keep their eyes open during Evolution this Sunday.

After competing in the ring for a number of years, Matt Hardy seemingly retired from the ring earlier this year due to a number of injuries that he has sustained over the course of his long career. Hardy still remains under contract to WWE though, and while speaking with Cultura Colectiva, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner was asked about possibly returning to the ring in the near future. Interestingly, Hardy did not dismiss the idea of coming back for a few more matches, and even floated out the idea of teaming with Jeff Hardy again soon. Matt Hardy will be starring alongside his family and other WWE Superstars in House Hardy, which will premiere right after Evolution ends on the WWE Network.
” I feel like when I return to WWE TV it’s gonna be—have you ever
seen The Incredible Hulk when Bruce Banner got angry and turned into
this green monster?—well, I feel you’re gonna have Matt Hardy and then
there’ll be something that causes Matt Hardy to transform into Woken or
Broken Matt Hardy.”
