Super Bowl 53 will see the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots compete against one another on Sunday, February 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Kickoff time is 6:30 PM EST / 3:30 PM PST, with the pre-game festivities taking place basically all Sunday long. With the growing popularity of streaming and fewer cable TV subscriptions, the question comes up of how one can watch the Super Bowl without traditional cable.

We’ve broken down where you can officially live stream Super Bowl 53 online without cable, whether it be from your PC, your phone, and even Nintendo Switch, PS4, or Xbox One.

  • Xbox One
  • PS4
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Streaming Devices
  • PC/Web Browser
  • iOS and Android Devices

The Super Bowl will be broadcast on CBS this year, and the network will be streaming the game for free on the CBS Sports website, the CBS Sports app, as well as on their own streaming platform – CBS All Access, which is available on consoles including Xbox One, and devices such as Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku, along with Samsung Smart TV’s. CBS All Access is free for a one-week trial or is $6 to pay for a month of the service.

Xbox One

The CBS All Access app is directly available to download for the Xbox One, so you can live stream the game with a subscription for a one-week free trial.

The Hulu with Live TV package is also a way for you to watch the game through the Hulu Xbox app, with a free trial that is offered for new subscribers. Sling TV, another subscription service, has a 7-day free trial, and also has a dedicated app on Xbox One.

PS4

PlayStation 4 has most of the same apps as Xbox One for streaming the game, including CBS All Access, and Hulu, but does not offer Sling TV. PlayStation’s TV service, PlayStation Vue will also let you stream the game live with a free 14-day trial if you are already not a subscriber to the service. However, you must watch the game on a channel from your local market.

Nintendo Switch

The only option for live streaming the 2019 Super Bowl on your Switch is using the Hulu app with the Live TV package added. If you are a new Hulu subscriber or are eligible to sign up for a one-week free trial, it’s not a bad idea, seeing as you can take the game with you and step into another room to take a break from your favorite family members and friends.

Streaming Devices

Devices and adapters such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Chromecast, along with many Samsung Smart TV’s are some of the best ways to stream the big game on Sunday. They all have the CBS All Access app, along with Hulu, Sling TV and FuboTV.

PC

As we mentioned earlier, you can stream the game on the CBS Sports website for free, without any gimmicks. If you want to watch it on your TV from the website, just hook up your laptop to your TV with the proper HDMI cables to mirror the screen.

Phones

Download the CBS Sports app on both your iPhone/iPad or Android device and you can watch Super Bowl 53 for free. If you have Chromecast, you will also be able to switch the stream to your TV so you don’t have to watch it on a tiny screen.

There are also various officially-licensed NFL apps that will reportedly be streaming the game for free, whether you have an iOS or Android device.

The game itself will begin at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT, on Sunday, February 3, 2019, with Maroon 5 headlining the Super Bowl Half-Time Show. You can watch dozens of the new Super Bowl 53 commercials ahead of time right here on IGN.
