As noted, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks closed Saturday night’s ROH NYC Excellence event with a newsworthy tease pertaining to the future of “All In.”
Cody Rhodes cut a promo during the ROH show stating that a decision had been made to hold “All In 2” in New York City, just before he admitted he was trolling the fans in NYC by exclaiming, “I am completely joking.”
However, moments later, The Young Bucks hit the ring and thanked the crowd in New York City, and teased that if “All In 2” does indeed take place, the event could possibly come to New York, and more specifically, Madison Square Garden.
Despite The Bucks and Rhodes teasing a possible “All In” event at MSG, Bryan Alvarez pointed out on Wrestling Observer Live that it might not be possible for the ROH stars to run the venue, as Vince McMahon might have an exclusive wrestling deal with The World’s Most Famous Arena.
Alvarez did note, however, that it could be possible for “All In 2” to be held at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, which holds up to 5,600 people depending on how it’s configured. With the initial “All In” event selling out more than 10,000 seats at The Sears Centre in less than thirty minutes, my guess is The Bucks and Rhodes would not be looking to run a venue for “All In 2” which seats almost 50% less people than the Sears Centre.
