With medical issues changing some of the matches from last night’s TLC Pay-per-veiw, it did lead to A.J. Styles facing off against Finn Balor in his demon persona. One person who was very much a fan of their performance was NXT General Manager as one of the lead trainer’s at the WWE Performance Center, William Regal. The NXT GM sent out a few tweets after the match praising the effort without a storyline leading into the match.

When wrestlers say “Ah,but we had a cold match,no story etc” I always say that of coarse you’ve got a https://t.co/ODOP3KYQ8h have to beat that person across the ring from you or you can’t feed yourself.Anything else you got to work with is a bonus….

That match was a perfect example of two competitors trying to win. Please remember,at the end of the day we are portraying Professional Fighters and your job is to win.

And before I read someone saying “yes but their s Stars etc..”.Thousands of talent who aren’t yet stars wrestle in front of a new audience every night and can win over a crowd with a competive match .No excuses.

As has been reported, originally the match was supposed to feature Finn Balor as the demon against Bray Wyatt in his “Sister Abigail” persona, but things changed with a reported case of viral meningitis by Wyatt’s brother, Bo Dallas put Wyatt under quarantine of the infectious disease. Styles was put in the match instead and it seems to have been a hit by those who watched it.
