Today WWE has announced that they will be bringing back the old WCW PPV concept, Starrcade for an upcoming live event in November.

The company announced that the week after Survivor Series, on Saturday, November 24th the live event in Cincinnati at the U.S. Bank Arena will be named Starrcade.

WWE did this in 2017, creating plenty of buzz for a live event and the company even brought back old names and booked the show in a way that was a throwback to WCW.
The show will be a dual-branded match which takes place around the Thanksgiving holiday, which could be a major reason as to why WWE is deciding to name the event Starrcade.
So far there has been no announcement regarding if the show will be taped for the WWE Network as the company has done with other big live events but several matches have already been announced for the show, with tickets going on sale this Friday.
Below is the announced card, which of course is subject to change:

– The Shield vs. Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre (Cincy Street Fight)

– AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe (Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship)

– Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch (Steel Cage Match for Smackdown Women’s Championship)

– Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev with Lana (For United States Championship)

– The New Day vs. The Bar (For Smackdown Tag Team Championship)

There will also be other wrestlers and a concert featuring Elias with Nature Boy, Ric Flair.
