In the overnight ratings, last night’s Survivor Series go-home edition of SmackDown averaged 2.215 million viewers on Fox.

That’s up 3.4 percent from last week’s overnight number and is the best overnight viewership for SmackDown since September 11. Last night’s show featured new WWE Champion Drew McIntyre appearing for a contract signing with Universal Champion Roman Reigns ahead of their non-title champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series.

SmackDown opened with 2.202 million viewers in hour one and rose very slightly to 2.228 million for the second hour.

In the 18-49 demo ratings, SmackDown averaged a 0.6 rating, identical to last week. That trailed ABC’s Shark Tank but beat everything else on network television. 

The 18-34 number was also second to Shark Tank on the networks. SmackDown scored a 0.3 rating in that category, down 25 percent from last week. 

Overall viewership was the lowest among all the networks with nothing else finishing below 2.7 million viewers. 

Year-over-year, SmackDown was down 14.8 percent in overnight viewership, 25 percent in 18-49, and 40 percent in 18-34.
